"You built your walls so high
Let me see beneath your beautiful
Let me see beneath your perfect"

Gratitude is one of the key ways to attract the resources we need. It is something that helps us feel satisfied, but it's hard to be grateful when you are in pain. Sometimes I'm sad and on some level lonely and I feel a disconnect from myself, I feel this disconnect from gratitude because of the hard hits from everyday life. When I feel this pain, my eyes are on what I don't have, with very little recognition on what I do have and I don't feel any gratitude.
So how can we go from pain to gratitude? First of all, it's good to be honest about how you feel, because you can't work something out if you can't admit it's there. There are many ways to heal, one way is to breathe and to feel your breath because your breath is connected to you and your body. Now it may seem like a very simple solution but simple can be powerful. Why breathe? We breathe because our breath is actually feeding us on all levels including the physical and spiritual. As we breathe, it starts to overcome the disconnect.
Another way to heal is to actually understand what issue is preventing you from gratitude because the "lack of gratitude is just a symptom. The way I can help with this disconnect with self and gratitude is to help you find and heal the real issue underneath. So I invite you to come and heal at Gentle Bear Healing.
